Walking

Many of those who have already experienced the unique calmness and tranquility that the Alentejo offers, return again……….and again.  Those who have not experienced this should not hesitate to visit.

If you want to leisurely stroll and soak in the surrounding beauty and serinity, or if you prefer a more ambitious hike. All adventures can be organised to suit your personal needs.

Walk along the old smugglers trails or the historic farmers drovers trails, amongst Megalithic Burial Chambers and Roman and Medieval remains.  Discover the Mountains, Rivers Lakes and Natural Springs.  Stop for a cool beer or a coffee in one of the beautiful villages,  and meet the many  friendly local characters.

We can accompany you on your journey and guide you.  Or we can provide you with maps and local information to guide you independently.
